Our Story
Eyob Tesfaye, Founder
CoffeeNet Trading PLC began with humble roots in the highlands of Uraga, Guji, one of Ethiopia's most celebrated coffee-growing regions. In these mountains, coffee is more than a crop — it is a heritage passed down through generations.
Long before CoffeeNet was formally established in 2018, Eyob Tesfaye was already building his understanding of Ethiopian coffee by working closely with cooperatives and washing stations, learning the value of careful processing, strong farmer relationships, and quality consistency at origin.
Eyob, an Economics graduate from Addis Ababa University, later served at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a Business Diplomat, where he gained valuable experience in international trade and global market dynamics. While working across different markets, he recognized a powerful opportunity to connect the rich coffee heritage of Uraga and other Ethiopian regions directly to buyers around the world.
Today, CoffeeNet proudly exports premium Ethiopian Arabica coffee sourced from renowned regions such as Guji, Yirgacheffe, and beyond, maintaining a strong commitment to quality, traceability, and sustainable practices.
